Pokémon 20th Anniversary Announcements

DevinRogersToday, Pokémon’s 20th anniversary, Nintendo released a special video briefly reflecting on the legacy of the Pokémon games.

The big announcement came in the form of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, the next line of games in the series.  Both games will be available Holiday 2016 on the 3DS, and seem to be in a newer engine than the Generation 6 games (X/Y, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire).

Other news that was announced included the ability to trade Pokémon caught in the new digital versions of the original Red/Blue/Yellow games to Pokémon Bank, allowing them to be used in the new Sun/Moon games.
