Yooka-Laylee began its life with Kickstarter as a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. Developed by ex-Rare employees, the company that created the Banjo-Kazooie franchise, Yooka-Laylee hopes to revisit the fun platforming style of its predecessor.
A new E3 trailer was released today showcasing gameplay from Yooka-Laylee. The title has now been delayed out of 2016 to the first quarter of 2017. The game is expected to launch on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and WiiU.
