E3 2016: Horizon Zero Dawn Delayed to 2017

Check out all of our E3 2016 coverage here.

DevinRogersAnnounced at last year’s Sony E3 press conference, Horizon Zero Dawn is a new IP from Guerilla Games that follows hunter Aloy as she hunts robotic dinosaurs for resources.  Today Sony has given us another look at the game with a new trailer where mystery has begun to develop around Aloy’s character and her past.

Though it was expected to come out in 2016, the new release date is February 28, 2017.  The game will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in both standard and collector’s editions.

  1. I’ve been looking forward to this game since it was first announced. I’m a bit overwhelmed by remakes/remasters, the promise of a new IP (and a PS4 exclusive to boot) was refreshing. Here’s to hoping the delay means a better game in the end.
